This is a political power move by the Islamists; they know the Lake District is treasured by the English and the Islamists are saying "we do not care, we hate you English and we are trampling all over your treasured heritage". There was no need for the Liberal Democrat council in Westmorland & Furness to approve this; it is purely ideological and vote chasing on the part of the Liberal Democrats and their Labour Party friends.

Totally agree. They are handing our country over to muslims. Its horrendous. We should be closing mosques down, not building more. How dare they stop funding churches,and allow this! Stop giving in to them! We are Christians! The Lakes are beautiful. Don’t mar them with this.

This is the first step to change the demographic of the region. They are destroying our heritage. My Grandmother was from Lake District and this saddens me that they are changing the makeup of this beautiful countryside!
