@espn Yeah coach that’s on you

@espn He sure did tell her to stop at 3B. He never told her to go home at all no arm wave or nothing, that dude gave a stop single at 3B

@espn Gotta love a coach who blames players for his mistakes.

@espn That is not at all how you tell someone to head for home as the 3b coach.

@espn I honestly feel like that second hand gesture to the bag was to the base runner behind her. That being said, I don’t agree with the way he handled his frustration after. I’m sure emotions are running high and he just had a moment, but it was still hard to watch.

@espn Probably? but normally a third base coach waits until the player is running past them to start directing the lagging runner, not before the first runner hits third base

@espn This base coach owes her an apology.

@espn This is how it’s done.

@espn 100% that’s on the coach. She can’t see behind her so any ambiguity in communication is his fault there.

@espn Great discipline by the third base runner - she was sure she was going home, but trusted his signal instead, because he's looking back and she's not. Unfortunately... he messed up.
