Is this an admission that GTA 6 won't be a game, but rather a scam to take all your money?

Not sure what the problem is as he added: "My job is to find the best talent in the business and then get out of their way." And he is right about this!

A CEO of a video game company don't play video games?

I hate to sound like Bernie Sanders but our pop culture is being made by soulless billionaires. There is simply too much money in the arts right now and it's sucking the soul out of everything. I believe in Capitalism but I do think the endless money is making bad art. It's not doing anything for our souls as a nation. We need broke artists again.

I'm not sure what criticism you're hinting at, if any? I think we have a fantasy about games companies being these places filled with hardcore gamers who live and breathe videogames and love the people who play them. But the truth of the matter is that there are tons of people in those spaces who are there to do a visual arts job, to write fiction, to do programming and accounting and licensing and marketing and to more or less perform the thing they were interested enough to train in in exchange for a decent wage, and some of those people play videogames and others don't, and that's fine.

I'm interested in what gamers think. I'll post my own thoughts later.

This is why gaming is the way it is. Good games companies were bought up and put under financial management to maximize profits and not produce good product
