Frank Isola is really close friends with Thibs. He is completely incapable of being impartial on this topic. Take what he says with a grain of salt. What plan, Frank? No coach is going to talk to you unless the job is vacant. They determined Thibs was the wrong fit moving forward and now they’re doing a coaching search. Did you want them to look for a coach behind Thibs’ back and then fire him when they found their guy? Even if that was possible (which it’s not) wouldn’t that be worse?
