But the elites are laughing at us- raking in the cash, chums getting plum jobs while my constituents can't pay their bills. I don't act from ideology- I act for what's best for people. My message has struck a chord because no matter your political opinion, we all agree that our lives are not getting better whilst the elites are thriving. Something has to change. I think it's worth building consensus on that so that all of our people have better lives and that power is held to account. No more elites shafting the little guy and rubbing our face in it!

I carry their courage with me in my heart every day, but never more profoundly than when I walked onto the stage at the Kennedy Center to receive a global leadership award in 2022. In that moment, emotion overwhelmed me. The realisation that I stood on that stage, at THE Kennedy Centre because of their sacrifices moved me to tears. I understood, with full clarity, that it was their bravery, their suffering, their relentless hope that opened doors for me, doors they themselves could only dream of walking through. And now, it is my turn. Our turn. To hold those doors open even wider for those who come after us. We must never stop fighting for better, so those who follow behind us, do not have to fight. I remember saying after finishing G Gundam that I doubted anything else could ever hype me up as much. It was one of the rare Gundam anime that I enjoyed from beginning to end without ever getting bored. I loved its consistent, raw, over the top Gundam fights. It was silly at times, but it was so exciting, and I loved it so much. Then Gundam Build Fighters proved me wrong. It’s just as exciting and fun as G Gundam, at least for me, because it kept me hyped from start to finish. Wait.. I didn't finish it yet. This one moment was so epic and raw, it gave goosebumps to my goosebumps. Build Fighters is easily a 10/10 anime. Yes, I mean it. It’s perfect. No flaws.
