If Benavidez really hadn’t “earned it,” then the next opponent will have done more. That’s a sham and anyone with a brain can see through it. That won’t be the case, Canelo can and does fight who he wants. That’s cool, just stop pretending he isn’t dodging Benavidez, the days of him taking the best opponent available are over. Abel even admits that here without realizing he’s doing so.
