Djokovic after retiring vs Nadal at Roland Garros 2006: "I think I was in control... Everything depended on me. I don't need to play anything special. I think I could win today... He's beatable." Nadal responded by beating him 7 times in a row on clay.

Throwback to when Novak Djokovic won Roland Garros for the first time and drew a heart on the clay and fell inside. Memorable and iconic. ❤️

The Battle of Surfaces… Almost $2 Million to make the half clay half grass court. - Nadal on 72-match win streak on clay. - Federer on 48-match win streak on grass - Switch sides/shoes every two games Crazy idea and execution 👏

Patrick Mouratoglou when asked if prime Alcaraz and Sinner would beat prime Djokovic, Federer and Nadal: "I think they would win." He goes on to add: "This Roland Garros final is the best final of all time to me, by far." Delusional.

As players struggle with the heat at Roland-Garros, it's a reminder of Nadal's extraordinary achievements on the clay over the years. The new Netflix doc Rafa is full of insights and when I spoke to Nadal about it, he reflected on his uncle Toni's intense training regime.

“Here you can’t predict the ball bounce or movement. They can do whatever they want, but I won’t be here next year if this clay stays.” - Djokovic “I never was in control of the match, I didn’t know how to win a point… I was not good enough to adapt my game to this court. If things continue like this, it will be very sad. Next year this will be one less event for my calendar.” - Nadal While Nadal and Djokovic failed to adapt to Madrid’s blue clay, Federer adapted with ease, further reinforcing why he is widely regarded as the most talented and complete player across all surfaces.

'For the rest of my career, I can enjoy playing and never have to hear that I never won Roland-Garros' 🧡 16 years ago today, amidst the rain and the tears, Roger Federer completed his career Grand Slam. The one Federer win I wouldn't trade for anything.

Wow a huge shock on the cards in Bastad as the world ranked 130 Serbian Duje Ajdukovic takes the first set against Nadal. Ajdukovic is not intimidated by Nadal and was in control of the set. I still expect the King of Clay to fight back and win though.

The Millennium Prize Problems are seven well-known complex mathematical problems selected by the Clay Mathematics Institute in 2000. The Clay Institute has pledged a US $1 million prize for the first correct solution to each problem. The Clay Mathematics Institute officially designated the title Millennium Problem for the seven unsolved mathematical problems, the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture, Hodge conjecture, Navier–Stokes existence and smoothness, P versus NP problem, Riemann hypothesis, Yang–Mills existence and mass gap, and the Poincaré conjecture at the Millennium Meeting held on May 24, 2000. Thus, on the official website of the Clay Mathematics Institute, these seven problems are officially called the Millennium Problems. To date, the only Millennium Prize problem to have been solved is the Poincaré conjecture. The Clay Institute awarded the monetary prize to Russian mathematician Grigori Perelman in 2010. However, he declined the award as it was not also offered to Richard S. Hamilton, upon whose work Perelman built.
