I was with him until the “I’d rather be French” bit. They’re having their own dealings with unsavoury members of the right wing that don’t seem too dissimilar to ours.

Agree. I love the creative scenes in London and other cities, and the scenery is pretty when the weather is decent (3 months a year), but so many of the people are mean, small-minded, racist, anti-creativity and embarrassing.

I admire the French workers. They don’t take unfairness from government. They’re soon out on strike without hesitation demanding their rights.

Maybe he should move to Burkino Faso or some other war torn impoverished country? He might start to appreciate the UK.
