What is Axar continued to bowl the tight line, batsman reverse hits every ball n misses n umpire wrongly declares wide. Just 4 more time n you lose. At some stage Indian players had to intervene having known the laws better.

i have one submission only somebody, please share a publicly-available-and-official source that clarifies this wide rule. No scribd links, no cricinfo articles, no almanacs that is not officially available, not MCC rulebook. Either the playing conditions or a press release that calls this rule out or something that defines "sufficiently within reach"

I think also there wasn’t a TV umpire? Makes the on-field call, any call, more important. P.S. I know a wide doesn’t normally go to the TV Umpire in international cricket.
