Had an interesting conversation this weekend with an older relative who's politics are "just be a good person". She's relatively wealthy and gives to the types of causes you would expect this type of person to give. She gives her time too. She is actually a good person. I asked her if she was ever concerned that the causes she gave to would reduce the proportion of people like her in the world. She said that she thought the opposite. That she was inspired by the generosity and kindness of others, and that by giving she would increase the proportion of people like her. I said I believed she inspires her peers, but her peers aren't the people she's giving money to. Do they become productive and generous people, like her? Or is she just increasing the proportion of people who are takers and don't give anything back? Despite decades of generosity, this was clearly a question she had never thought about. The implications made her uncomfortable, and the conversation basically ended after that.

This little girl told her mom that she wishes she weren’t black and that she was white. The mother tells her that she is beautiful and that God made her the way she is for a reason. But she questions her on why she would think that. The mother is second guessing herself now. Little did she know that that was only the end of a phase in her journey and not the journey all together. Presumably; it was when Biggie called again that our sweet girl realized that the universe INFACT, did have more in store for her. Coming back on this show was such a brave move. Thank you Evans for this. I have always said this and I love that more people are seeing it as well. When Meg lied on Oprah that a senior royal has worried about what colour of skin Archie would be, I always said It was herself she was talking about. Narcissists ALWAYS accuse their victims of doing what they do themselves. They projects constantly. So Jess admitted this morning that I was right about how her departure from Twitter went down. Which is cool and all but it’s the other stuff that she said during her admission that caught my attention. Because it really sounds like she’s finally admitting that she does not now nor has she ever had any evidence that Baker is all of the horrible things that she claimed he is. For two weeks she has been adamant that she had the proof to back up her claims but she just couldn’t show it to us and she made it seem like we were the assholes in this situation for not trusting her. I’ve had a neighbor that always got mad when our shrubs would grow out and touch her fence. She demanded that we trimmed them like the shrub touching the fence would damage it somehow. It was funny at first for her to do that but I seriously think she might just have been lonely and wanted an excuse to interact. I would try to keep up on it just so I wouldn’t be bothered by her at all hours of the day. This woman didn’t like how this man’s grass touched her fence and would reach over to pull it out. Her husband keeps telling her to come inside yet she refuses and even goes as far as to claim the man is harassing her. Is he bothering her though? I do think it’s funny he puts his feet by her to her dismay. At least she stayed on her side of the fence. My neighbor would come and pound on my door and wake me up during the day sometimes when I’m trying to get a nap. She would demand I trim my plant that is touching the fence because she claims it would eventually push on the fence and cause it to go crooked. I always thought she was being irrational in thought. The shrubs don’t grow fast enough to cause that kind of pressure to do so yet she always insisted they did. She ended up getting too elderly to stay at the home by her self and I kind of felt a sigh of relief when her daughter put her in a nursing home. They ended up selling the house and the new neighbors never even bothered me about the issue.
