My Metro chances of finishing 1st or 2nd: CAR — 75% WSH — 37% PHI — 25% NJD — 23% NYI — 15% CBJ — 11% PIT — 10% NYR — 4% I’m not putting Carolina above 3/4. They dominated last year, but injuries or a Cup hangover can happen. I like Washington… 37% feels fair until we see the pieces together. Philadelphia gets the slight edge over New Jersey. Their goaltending gives me more confidence & more of their roster feels like it still has room to grow. The Flyers went from 76 points to 98 last season. That New Jersey goaltending does not inspire confidence for a 1st or 2nd-place team… but they’re still in with a shot. 🥅

@JeffMarek People forget how dominant they were when healthy. If they stay healthy with this new bottom 6, this is definitely not crazy. People question goaltending, but all they ever needed was average goaltending and this duo can do that. Markstrom was the inconsistent problem in nets
