I don't think Silk is going to be a playable character in Marvel's Spider-Man 3. #marvel #spiderman #comics

I see these 2 things happening 1. She becomes playable last moment for 1 mission at the end similar to venom 2. She gets a standalone or coop game with miles after sm3

Carnage is probably going to be stuck to the Venom game, probably killed off there too, same as all the datamined life foundation symbiotes.

Until the Venom game is CONFIRMED, I'm not banking on that. SO MANY Insomniac Spider-man projects from that leak have since been canceled. Until we get any official sources, I'm operating under the assumption the next game is SP3.

spiderman 2 dlc was cut before spiderman 2 came out thus the spiderbots in the final game which realistically would've been part of the spiderverse dlc as for venom vgc said as of summer 2026 it's still happening it won't be long before venom comes out (late 2027 at the latest)

as for wolverine underperforming spiderman 2 was below their expectations when it first came out, took them a couple of months to start selling well sony has a trick with marvel games they do bundles, they lose some money but hit the sales requirements that please disney/marvel

NOTE: Multiple insomniac Spider-Man projects have been canceled since the leak a few years back. Until we get official confirmation that a Venom or Cindy game is in development, I have to assume they got scrapped as well due to the change in direction.

I think a good idea would be to do with Silk like they did with Miles in Spider Man 1 but have her accompany miles on his side of the story whilst Peter Deals with his side and then Merge the 2 similar to SM2 but a lot less clunky then that game

maybe we could do like mj missions for her but she has spider powers and we can use

acting like Silk getting her own game like Miles wouldn’t work

They could just make the game 3x bigger than spider-man 1. A 60 hour story would be fire

We don’t need a third playable character. That’s just gimmicky. Granted, I can see Insomniac attempting it, but it’s unnecessary. We need a better written story, with even keeled pacing, and better characterization for both Peter & Miles. Things SM2 didn’t have.

I think it'd be insane not to? I think the story will definetly pick up as Miles solo Spider-manning it, but around chapter 5 a big enough threat will show up that calls Peter out of retirement for "one last job". It would be insane to have "the final chapter" not have him

Okay maybe he’ll have a few playable sections but I think it’s more likely that (or at least it’d be a lot better if) it mainly focused on miles and silk as dual protagonist instead and Peter act as mostly a guy in the chair or as a ai controlled character in some missions

Don’t quote me on this because I’ve not gotten around to reading silk’s comics yet ( even though I love her character) but aren’t the comics slowly trying to phase out the whole Cindy and Peter thing from existing

During the ransomware hack of 23, a very very early build of SM3 was found. They got the build running, it was just SM2 but with a few new characters added. Silk was the person you played as as soon as you launched the game. She will 100% be playable

Keep in mind since that leak, numerous Spiderman projects have been canceled or reworked. We have no clue if their plans from 4 years ago are current. They probably planned for Great Web or SP DLC to set her up, but we don't have those anymore.

It just wouldn’t make sense if they always planned for this to be the end of this trilogy, then plan for a whole introduction for silk with her being playable. I don’t even think they did the 2 playable characters well in 2, cause they didn’t give miles that much

Not really. Silk dosen't need a story arc, people don't even care for the story and stuff, Silk has claws, webs, acrobatic capability, etc. Her moveset can be similar to black cat's.

They should do a Miles and Cindy team up game the size of Spider-Man Miles Morales and dive into their new family dynamic and Cindy getting bit and have Spider-Man 3 focus more on Miles coming to Peter for help with Norman and Otto
