Illinois is becoming a business killer, and Chicago is becoming a small-business killer. DraftKings announced it will close its Wrigley Field sportsbook on May 31. In a statement published by the Chicago Tribune, the company pointed directly to Illinois’ tax policies as a major reason for the decision. “While we are proud of what we have built alongside the Chicago Cubs, we are taking a more focused approach to where we invest in the state. The cost of operating in Illinois, including its high tax structure, makes it more difficult to justify continued investment in a standalone retail sportsbook.” The “high tax structure” DraftKings referenced includes Illinois’ per-wager tax that took effect on July 1, 2025: • 25 cents on each of the first 20 million online sports bets annually • 50 cents on every online sports bet after 20 million wagers When businesses openly cite taxes and operating costs as reasons for leaving or scaling back investments, Illinois leaders should pay attention. Every time a company closes a location, reduces investment, or chooses another state, it impacts jobs, economic activity, and future opportunities. The question Illinois taxpayers should be asking is simple: How many businesses can Illinois afford to lose before elected officials realize that overtaxing employers comes with consequences? Welcome to Illinois where politicians keep looking for new revenue while businesses keep looking for the exit. 🌹📉 #ChicagoFlipsRed

So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. Each time we saw the anomaly, it was followed by a destructive weather event in Africa. A weird connection to that is we have been told and warned of a very busy 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. This is in part because of the above-average Atlantic ocean temperatures, which is the fuel to Hurricanes. With all this info, it's possible to see how the Anomaly could be a frequency tech that can manipulate or create weather, And or WARM up the Ocean temps to purposely enhance the Hurricane season and Storm growth. Keep in mind that many of our hurricanes and many of the biggest hurricanes have come from the west coast of Africa and form over the Cape Verde islands before heading towards the Caribbean and the United States. This is all of course speculation, and I'm learning many new things every day, so this idea may morph over time as we learn more. In the end, it is very hard to ignore all these findings. #antarctica #anonaly #AntarcticaAnomaly #BouvetIsland

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feature the most impressive severe thunderstorm setup I’ve seen along the California coastline in at least a decade. The first round of isolated severe thunderstorms will come ashore tonight, bringing the threat of a isolated tornado and severe wind gusts over 60 mph from the Central Coast up to Humboldt County. The severe weather threat then expands into the Central Valley during the afternoon, California’s tornado alley, with the potential for isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, and even large hail. The threat then shifts south into Southern California tomorrow, where isolated severe wind gusts and a brief tornado will be possible. However, Christmas Eve into Christmas morning features the most potent severe weather environment of the week and could lead to a severe thunderstorm outbreak along the coastline from the Central Coast up to the North Coast. The combination of strong low-level and deep-layer shear with sufficient instability is rarely seen in this part of the world. I seriously cannot recall seeing Significant Tornado Parameter (STP) values exceed 3 along the California coastline. The peak threat window appears to be from 10 PM Thursday to 8 AM Friday. It would not be out of the question to see a Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued Christmas Eve night with the potential for a couple tornadoes and scattered severe wind gusts. I also believe this may be the first time on record that San Francisco has been placed under a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms in the Day 1–3 NWS Storm Prediction Center Convective Outlooks.

Winter Weather Advisory ⚠️ for Lake Cook Dupage and Will counties and south from there from 6PM Saturday to 6PM Sunday If it was just system #snow giving us a glancing blow from the expansive southern storm dumping every type of weather from #Chicago to the gulf coast, an easy forecast of 1”-4” north to south would be on the table But dance with the devil we must as Lake Michigan sits poised to be either a reluctant dance partner or the lead tango dancer in the snow show Forecasts range from 2”-9” in the city. 2” means no lake impact, 9” means we get a long duration lake feed I’m leaning toward the latter, as entrenched cold air, mid and low level wind convergence over the lake, a lengthy North-Northeast wind fetch and still open mid lake surface water should be enough to loft even a little moisture 2-3 miles upward to feast on an excellent snowflake growth zone that will feed into the immediate Chicago shore areas and add another 3”-5” to the system snow. Another tricky point is the ratio of liquid to snowfall. Usually we see a 10 to 1 mix. 0.1” liquid=1” snow. This cold air here will double that to 20 to 1 so even an extra 1/4 inch of liquid would be 5” of snow (0.25x20=5.0) to add in And by immediate shore areas I could see Midway getting double what O’Hare gets. Like Cicero Ave and east being a cutoff Here’s the model variance. Snow would start to trickle in about sunset Saturday and just hang out thru much of Sunday into the afternoon.

🚨BREAKING: An Apocalyptic SCENE Is Unfolding In Tel Aviv—Millions Of CROWS are Swarming The Skies🧐 A dark cloud of birds is currently circling the city in numbers that defy explanation. The footage is chilling, and for those who know scripture, this is not just a strange natural event—it's an ominous sign of things to come. The Bible is filled with prophecies about the end times, and birds of prey, including crows, are often used as symbols of judgment, desolation, and divine retribution. One of the most direct references comes from the book of Jeremiah, a prophet of judgment, who declares: "I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of what Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, did in Jerusalem. I will deliver them into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, and their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and for the beasts of the earth." (Jeremiah -20, ESV) This isn't just about death; it's about a public judgment, where the bodies of the unfaithful are left as a feast for scavengers like crows. Another powerful vision comes from the prophet Hosea, who warns of the consequences of breaking a covenant with God: "I will fall upon them like a bear robbed of her cubs; I will tear open their breast, and there I will devour them like a lion, as a wild beast would rip them open. I will destroy you, O Israel; who can help you? Where now is your king, to save you in all your cities? Where are all your rulers—those of whom you said, ‘Give me a king and princes’?... The wind has wrapped them in its wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices." (Hosea 13:8, 10, 15, ESV) While this passage uses a bear and lion, the imagery of divine judgment and shame is clear. In Revelation, the ultimate book of end-times prophecy, we see a final, devastating judgment where "all the birds that fly across the heavens" are called to a "great supper of God, to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men" (Revelation -18). Crows, as unclean scavengers, fit perfectly into this apocalyptic feast. This swarm over Tel Aviv is a modern-day signpost pointing to these ancient prophecies. It's a visual representation of judgment looming over a city. Some may call it a migration, but for believers, it's a spiritual weather report. The warnings are in the sky. Is this a sign from above, or just a bizarre natural event? Drop your interpretation below. 👇 From: إسحاق حمومي | יצחק אל-חמומי 🇮🇱

Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 5:42 PM PDT: All systems are a go for a cold and unseasonable Gulf of Alaskan April storm. Strong thunderstorms have already developed near Redding, California, and a series of embedded impulses are rotating around the main low axis off the coast of Humboldt County this afternoon. This storm system will undergo a brief 12 to 24-hour intensification process before hitting San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Sacramento late Thursday afternoon. It will bring isolated strong to severe thunderstorm conditions. A large surface cold front will develop late Friday morning as the low axis trajectory slides down the coast towards Pismo Beach, California by Friday at dawn. Severe Weather Risk In Central And Southern California on Friday. The atmospheric conditions will become increasingly unstable, giving way to thunderstorms from central California to San Diego. The cold pool of air aloft, at minus 28 Celsius above 25,000FT, will create volatile weather conditions with the possibility of pea-sized hail and brief heavy rainfall in some areas. The air mass will be very cold, supporting a dusting of snow near the Grapevine and Cajon Pass. Temperatures will drop into the 40s and 50s, and the 30s near the mountains by Friday midday. As snow levels have been trending downward and hit rock bottom, there may be some isolated areas at 2,000-foot elevation along the San Gabriel’s and parts of the San Bernardino mountains that could see a dusting of snow. Even some dusting of snow in the high desert cannot be ruled out. There is a high confidence of elevated water spouts developing from San Luis Obispo to San Diego coastal zones, especially since one of the embedded disturbances will arrive on Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM. This is also the best opportunity for ample early April sun angle, which will give way to stronger convection across our region. I'm closely monitoring this developing situation in the next 24 hours. #Californiastorms #ElNiño #April2024

Reindeer Herder in Northern Mongolia 🇲🇳 Mongolia’s Tsaatan Reindeer Herders; a diminishing nomadic tribe who live in the depths of the Taiga in northern Mongolia are one of last groups of nomadic reindeer herders in the world. There about 400 Dukha people of 70-80 families live in communities, usually a group of two to seven households. Mongolian reindeer people life is completely dependent on the Reindeer they herd, often moving their small encampment tepees 5-10 times a year in search of suitable weather and moss for the reindeer. This vast region is home to several thousand square kilometres of natural habitat classified as taiga (boreal forest) located within the Shishged River watershed of Altai-Sayan mountains (largest mountain range in southern Siberia) and provides home range for the world’s southern-most indigenous reindeer population and their herders – Tsaatan. Mongolia’s Tsaatan reindeer herders are Mongolia’s smallest ethnic minority – a community of nomadic reindeer herders with strong shamanist beliefs. Originally from Tuva in Siberia, they have historically inhabited the border region of Russia and Mongolia. Ethnically, community identifies as Dukha, but their lifestyle as reindeer herders earned them the Mongolian name Tsaatan, which means roughly ‘with reindeer.’ At the end of 20th Century Mongolian reindeer number decreased drastically from 2280 to 616. Thanks to the number of organizations, individuals, foundations, as well as Mongolian government contributed the Dukha tribe to keep their traditional way of life and increase the reindeer head. Mongolian reindeer herder Tsaatans proudly celebrated the 2000 Reindeer Festival in August 2019. Indeed, Mongolia reindeer number reached 2690 by 2020. Tsaatans use the reindeer as the main way of transportation such as travel for hunting, the collection of firewood, as a pack animal for seasonal migrations, visiting relatives and friends, and traveling to the town for shopping and trade. Reindeer milk is part of Tsaatans' staple food from which they make cheese, milk tea, butter, and yogurt. A reindeer gives 96-100 liters of thick and rich milk during the milking season. Tsaatans occasionally eat reindeer meat, but overall they prefer to increase the reindeer number instead of slaughtering. Tsaatans or Dukha people begin training reindeer for riding when the reindeer are two years old ridden by children because the adults are too heavy to ride the two-year-old. However, ridden by adults at age of three when reindeer are strong enough. During the nomadic movement, the male reindeer usually carry loads weighing about 40 kg while females carry up to 30 kg. When the weather is cooler, the reindeer are vigorous and healthy. Dukhas usually settle down at an altitude of 2300 m above the sea level, but 1800 m in winter where they can be sheltered and avoid the frigid winds. Snow is not an obstacle for reindeer to find and eat moss because they can dig in the snow with their hooves and find moss easily. The young males are castrated after mid-September when the weather cools down. The end of September to early October is a mating season for reindeer. The gestation period for a reindeer is about seven months. Monthly, Mongolian government has been granting some amount of money both for adults and children in the community. Another source of income is tourism but it covers a few of the households depending on their encampment locations. Though, eco-friendly travel is vital. They randomly sell the reindeer or its skin. Instead, hunt in the mountains in autumn for winter food. Tsaatans have the closest relation with nature and know how to use the herbs and plants for medicinal purposes or food. Surplus medicinal plants, berries, and pinecone nuts are sold in the nearby towns or bartered in exchange for food and clothes. They, also catch fish spearing them with long poles. 🎥© mongolempire_ (IG) #archaeohistories

Forget US Switchblades. Meet India's HOVERBEE. 🇮🇳✈️" The paradigm of the modern battlefield is shifting from heavy artillery to soldier-portable lethality. Leading this transition is Zulu Defence Systems, a Bengaluru startup emerging as a pivotal player in India's defense sector. By combining cutting-edge technology with real-world military experience, Zulu is providing a strategic edge to the Indian Armed Forces. With leadership like Major Samar Toor Major Sammer Pal Toorr (Infantry Combat Veteran) (Chief Growth Officer and 3rd Generation Infantry Veteran) driving their vision, the company is set to become a game-changer in the domain of tactical drone warfare. The Game Changer: The HOVERBEE: The star of their arsenal is the HOVERBEE. This isn't your average quadcopter. It is a micro-loitering munition (kamikaze drone) that fits in the palm of your hand. A compact 15 cm, 260-gram kamikaze micro-drone for indoor/outdoor ops. It enters the building to hunt terrorists, delivers a 400-gram grenade payload, offers night vision, live video streaming up to 2 km, and excels in border surveillance even in fog/bad weather. From Prototype to Production: The biggest news isn't just the tech—it's the induction. Indian Navy MARCOS Induct the 'Hoverbee' – The New Predator in the Shadows. -->The system underwent rigorous trials with elite units, including the Marine Commandos (MARCOS) and infantry battalions. -->Zulu Defence has moved from prototyping to batch production, ensuring that Indian infantry units don't just have one or two prototypes, but a steady stream of "personal air support." This deal marks a major shift where the Indian Army is trusting indigenous startups over foreign imports for critical tactical needs. The DRAP (Anti-Armor): India's first indigenous kamikaze "tank killer" drone. Beyond the micro-drones, they have developed the DRAP—a larger loitering munition with a 5kg warhead. It targets Light vehicles, bunkers, and even tanks. This acts as a "Tank Killer," allowing infantry to ambush mechanized columns without needing heavy anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). ZBEE FPV: A tactical first-person-view combat drone for precision payload delivery (e.g., 2kg mortar dropper), low-latency AI-stabilized vision, and battlefield strikes in tough conditions. VOLUME35: A weaponized UAS platform that can launch Igla-S MANPADS (shoulder-fired anti-air missiles) from the air, extending range and versatility for air defence against enemy aircraft/drones. Atmanirbhar Bharat Advantage: Foreign drones often come with high costs and data security risks. Zulu offers a solution that is 100% Made in India, a fraction of the cost of US equivalents (like the Switchblade), and engineered specifically for high-altitude borders. Zulu Defence isn't just a company; it's a warning to our adversaries. The eyes in the Indian sky are smaller, smarter, and deadlier than ever before. 🇮🇳 Major Sammer Pal Toorr (Infantry Combat Veteran) Col AJ🇮🇳 Brig Brijesh Pandey Aadi Achint 🇮🇳 TheGlobalDecoder #ZuluDefence #IndianArmy #AtmanirbharBharat #MARCOS

🚨BREAKING: THE COUP IS OVER | WAGNER’S RETREATING This official statement from Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner group and the leader of this coup, says it all. I don't think anyone expected this: "They were going to dismantle PMC Wagner. We came out on 23 June to the March of Justice. In a day, we walked to nearly 200km away from Moscow. In this time, we did not spill a single drop of blood of our fighters. Now, the moment has come when blood may spill. That’s why, understanding the responsibility for spilling Russian blood on one of the sides, we are turning back our convoys and going back to field camps according to the plan." The President of Belarus, Lukashenko, has been in talks with Prigozhin all day and has taken credit for the peace agreement. Prigozhin accepted the terms of Lukashenko’s agreement and agreed to halt the movement of his forces and return back to his bases. The agreement also guarantees security for fighters of PMC Wagner. It seems that the attempted coup has come to an end, and Prigozhin, along with his men, will return to their bases. Reports of Wagner forces not only leaving Moscow Oblas, but also leaving Rostov. Russian media reports that criminal cases have already been dropped from Yevgeny Prigozhin and that Prigozhin and his forces will receive FULL IMMUNITY Restrictions on the movement of vehicles have been lifted from the Voronezh region which saw clashes earlier during the coup. MY THOUGHTS: - I did not expect this would end peacefully with a deal as it seemed both sides seemed at the point of no return - I have no idea how Prigozhin and Putin can both operate in Russia with what just transpired, and I also have no idea what will happen with the war in Ukraine but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a space deal reached. - Today was another example of citizen journalism replacing mainstream media with UNBIASED and UNCENSORED live breaking news. - I am fried, been awake for more than 30 hours, initially doing a space with former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan before shifting to the Coup space which is at 21 hours and counting. Time for me to finally sleep!

Managed to get out of Dubai. The following is my personal opinion & experience 🇦🇪 Everything went quite seamless. Careem cabs operate normally. The airport is extremely well organized, considering the circumstances. The world has changed since Saturday and unfortunately, the country I moved to 3 years ago has been under heavy attacks. Why? No one really knows. However, I find it extremely disturbing that most media - including our beloved CT - exploits that serious situation to take cheap shots at Dubai and people who moved here. There are real families and hard working people affected. Most are scared or feel extremely uncomfortable. It's a traumatizing experience to hear missile interceptions right above your house. Nothing I wish for any human to ever experience, no matter if you pay 0% or 50% taxes. I don't even know what the link between those two things should be?? If anything, it proves that the UAE cares about their people and is able to protect its residents. Even at 0% income tax. Dubai was not known for it's strong military. It was always portrayed to be bling-bling golden steaks and influencers. But the UAE has shown the entire world that it can defend 1,000+ drones and 200+ missiles from a direct neighbor. That is impressive, whether you love or hate the UAE. Many countries would likely not be able to absorb that. So, if anything: Dubai and the UAE have demonstrated that the system works. I have lived in multiple countries around the world and the UAE is by far the most capable of handling crisis. Why did I leave Dubai then? Because it's not a situation I want to be in. Missile interceptions and drone explosions are no joke. Besides the danger that debris could hit your roof, there's an incredible intensity in the air. Most describe it as "intense calmness". While the Government managed to keep everyone from panicking, it's impossible for everyone to stay fully calm. And you can feel that in the day to day. The first night I got virtually no sleep. The night of my departure neither. I haven't left my house at all after the attacks started. But I'm out now. I really hope that leaving the country wasn't necessary, and that I will be able to come back to Dubai as soon as possible. And no, I'm not paid to say this, nor did I sign anything. Maybe part of the truth why no one who lives in Dubai has bad things to say about it is because it's one of the rare places on earth where people actually trust the Government and respect them? Not only for creating wealth and understanding business, but for caring and communicating in a way most other countries are simply incapable of. Anyways, I guess the point of this post is to 1) Tell everyone in Dubai that it's possible to leave right now. I know many people are very scared and want to get out. Be persistent with the airline if they cancel your flight and push hard to get rebooked on the next available one. And maybe choose a destination that isn't Europe, considering most of these flights are overbooked already and impossible to get on. 2) Dubai's self defense is impressive and we should acknowledge that. At least this one time, let's not derail into irrelevant discussions but show respect to the leaders + express empathy for those affected. 3) As an expat living in Dubai, I can still feel proud of my home country and do not have to choose. This isn't a black and white situation. Dubai is a melting pot of cultures and great place for Business. Other countries have better nature, social life or other things. It's also up to individual preference. 4) If you hate Dubai, yalla you don't need to live here, visit nor speak about it. Enjoy the place you live in and focus on your own. No need to feel triggered and take cheap shots at hard working people and families that are currently under heavy missile attacks. One final thing that really became clear to me this week is that after all, safety, health and living in freedom are absolutely priceless. May this all be over with soon and for sustaining peace to come in 🤲🏼

🦞 13,000+ skills in ClawHub… and 1 in every 8 can silently steal your API keys while you sleep. Let’s be real: a vanilla OpenClaw agent without skills is just an overpriced chatbot. The magic happens when you give it actual skills to clear your inbox, scrape the web, or write code. But here is the scary part: ClawHub just hit 13,000+ skills, and a recent Snyk audit showed that roughly 13% of them contain critical vulnerabilities. We’re talking malware, stolen API keys, and prompt injections. I guess we didn't learn enough from the ClawHavoc mess earlier this year! 🤦‍♂️ I just came across a solid write up breaking down 30 actually safe, fully tested OpenClaw skills, and it’s a goldmine. If you’re just getting started, here are the absolute must haves from the list: - > Telegram / Wacli: Texting your AI assistant to handle tasks while you’re out getting coffee? Literal game changer. Latency is surprisingly low. - > Capability Evolver: The most downloaded skill for a reason. Your agent uses ML to improve its own capabilities while you sleep. - > GOG (Google Workspace): Turns your agent into a personal secretary. It reads my Gmail and drops events into my Calendar so I don't have to. - > Playwright / Agent Browser: This isn't just reading the internet. It's clicking, filling forms, and acting on your behalf. - > ClawStrike & Credential Manager: Please, for the love of god, install these first. Protect your API keys. Pro tip from the article: Treat SKILL.md files like shady browser extensions. If a weather skill is asking for wildcard shell permissions... run. 🚩 Always make it a habit to run: "npx clawhub@latest inspect " before you actually install anything. The future of AI agents isn't just about bigger parameter models, it's about the tools we give them.

Officially moving on from Tech game after I get this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!

VTubing is for everyone! I don't like to bring this up, but recent events in the VTuber community made some people really vile. I had my M&G at HolMat last week and had people come up and just yell at me for being a girl in the "womans world", that is VTubing, no idea about who I was, or why I was there. I had the same group return to my handler multiple times, I felt really worried about the person carrying me around having to deal with this repeatedly and tried to steer them away from the group. It seems they found my YT and left me a handful of the same comments, luckily all caught by moderation tools. While I will refrain from M&G's for a little until this calms down I want to say this; I have been managing for over 1.5 years now, I deliberately take on male VTubers to show them that they can still do it. I take on people that have babiniku accounts, those that are changing from one gender presentation to another and want help, and those that have no gender presentation in their avatar. A lot of male VTubers struggle to find a manager because the stereotype is that all male VTubers are evil and it perpetuates a stereotype that extends beyond entertainment industry subcultures like streaming. VTubing has always been a medium, while character and marketing matters, it's about what makes you happy, YOU are the person that makes the content. Use whatever you want as an avatar, use a voice changer if that's what you want to do. Every month I have a male client bring up they can't do it the same way, that it's easier if jiggle physics or a cute voice is the answer to fast growth. And I tell them yeah, I can also do ASMR, I can do drama content, collab with a larger person, and get to x amount of viewers. There are shortcuts in every entertainment profession and subculture. Does it last? Do quick fixes for anything ever last? Yes, great physics and an expensive model can get people in, but if your value, your way of interacting with people, your content plan and marketing is ass, you can pack up. Most of us start on a small budget, premade or resold models, and it's the same in the big league entertainment industry too. Can I take out a loan and put myself on a billboard tomorrow, can I pay the most expensive model artist and rigger and get in along corporate VTubers tomorrow? Sure. Will it last, will it be genuine, will people trust me? Hell no. Genuine communities and growth build trust. I think streaming, creative industries, entertainment, are full of people, regardless of gender, that will see success and call it "easy", because of what they see as the end product. They don't see most VTubers working a second job, they don't see the managers, they don't see 100+ hours a month going into content production, years invested in singing and voice lessons, model redebut after redebut. I think a lot of male VTubers get a bad rep, because so many boys are raised without putting emphasis on empathy and creativity, watching my brothers be told they should not pursue art, that theatre class is a waste of time, and that they needed to go study x or y to make money for their families in the future was heartbreaking. Nobody should have to look at others and feel so much hatred for society they turn against a whole group of people. If you want to pursue entertainment, please do. If you want to grow and try and make a name for yourself, you should start there, not with yelling about how you already failed. "Oh but I can't", "Oh but the odds are stacked against me", look at the big streamers, look at Ironmouse who overcame everything with hard work, look at Kiara who rose from the ashes, look at everyone that fights against their odds every day and give it your all. If you already think you lost, then you have nothing to lose. Don't give up on your dreams because others tell you to.
