There are a lot of smart animals if you give them a chance, dogs and cats are crazy smart.

They are really smart - but especially street-type cats. I have ragdolls and they are beautiful - but not very smart. The Stray I took on is not really pretty - but he runs circles around these guys.

I live in a ground floor apt, and one neighborhood cat knows if he "knock" on the door I'll open it and give me some food. So he stops by pushes on the door; the door rattles. I know its him.
