I don’t think we talk enough about how a lot of the stories we read casually in the Bible, are depicting horrifying events for the women in them. There are SO many things that are actually insane. like… when you finally read those stories as an adult woman you realise half of it is just violence & zero consent. which woman’s story still makes you go “sorry… HOW was this ever okay?”
