HIS family made it about race; it was not the handful of accounts who probably saw the tape and cried for equal justice—to some, that justice would still be the death penalty to this day after the judge effectively gave him a slap on the wrist with 35 years. We all know he won’t spend more than half that time.

The family's attorney even put out a Facebook post regarding a picture that turned out to be false information.
