Custody cases get bitter and out of control. It's easy to blame mothers. There are many examples of the kids not being safe with one parent or another, getting the courts to see this is damn near impossible anymore. While I don't agree with holding children from a decent parent there are many parents who absolutely are not safe.

I knew someone who after divorce the ex wife refused to let the Dad see his only child..for years, just to be spiteful. It is extremely evil. Extremely heart breaking. She destroyed all of their lives. The one who suffered the most was the child. People will pay, judgement comes.

Thank God the 911 operator/dispatcher had the skill, grit and mental fortitude to stay in control of that critical conversation and give police sufficient time to respond. Training helps, but it takes a special kind of person to keep it together like that in a critical incident.

Thank god the child survived, I’m not sure if she’ll ever fully recover from that. As for blaming the mother, the courts etc give me a break. Was he treated unfairly possibly, the minute he decided they were both going to die he lost all credibility, this was about revenge.
