Ministers should stand up, be counted and resign without question. I would have more respect if they do so in the manner that politicians used to resign. The longer this drags on the less respect I have for any politician. I am sick of the pathetic line of ex- ministers snivelling on the media round that they "were forced out or, were the victims of circumstances beyond their control" nonsense when they should have done their job meticulously and forensically. That is why they are paid their huge remuneration!

@jonsopel @maitlis @DavidDavisMP @GlobalPlayer Were post workers able to access legal aid to defend themselves? I doubt it. Many were frightened into false confessions. David says justice delayed is justice denied. Removing legal aid denies justice and his govt (as well as previous one) has savaged it.
