@aishahhasnie He doesn't worry about it because he's having dinner with the CEO building it. The "fix it later" attitude is a disaster waiting to happen.

@aishahhasnie Why bother even asking the dumbest person in every room he’s in, about a complicated technology security issue ? My dog doesn’t worry about AI either… for the same reason.

@aishahhasnie Trump is now taking AI advice from XI. Communists are now good, democracies are bad. Fox ‘News’ is going to be changing their talking points.

@aishahhasnie That timing is pretty wild. Trump is brushing off the risks while sitting down with one of the CEOs warning about them.

@aishahhasnie Prioritizing multi-trillion-dollar dominance over frontier risks ensures the race moves forward, regulatory guardrails or not. You and @10_beth_ are easily two of my favorite follows.

@aishahhasnie Why doesn’t Trump doesn’t care about the tech bros going rogue on a global scale? Just before Trump’s inauguration, OpenAI Sam Altman’s company donated $5 million to Trump’s super PAC. 9 days later, Trump signed an executive order ending AI policies...

@aishahhasnie He couldn't explain AI if his presidency depended on it. He's easily the dumbest motherfucker on the planet. He doesn't worry because he's cashing in on it, the data centers, and anything else he can get his stubby-fingered hands on.

🇺🇸 Trump's AI summit with Musk, Zuckerberg and Huang ENDS with a "morally binding" pact. Trump says he and the biggest names in tech signed a document that is "almost like a constitution." Here's everything you need to know about where the future of AI stands today: 1. Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella and Dario Amodei were also among nearly 20 tech leaders in the room, per NBC. 2. Speaker Mike Johnson says the pact is "voluntary on behalf of the industry." 3. Trump says there's "a belief that there should be tremendous self-regulation," adding that the DOJ and FBI already provide regulation. 4. Trump is considering a committee of "maybe 10 people" to "watch over the whole enterprise." 5. Trump will officially rename AI "super intelligence" because "it's not artificial." 6. His America dot gov executive order, signed Tuesday, already calls it "super intelligence." 7. Trump says AI companies will support communities near their data centers, possibly by "helping teachers along financially." 8. Otherwise, he says, they'll "be forced to go overseas or other locations." 9. Trump says the US is "about a year, maybe a year and a half up on China" in AI. 10. Speaker Johnson says "we do not need a moratorium," warning that over-regulating AI means "we'll lose the race to China." 11. Sam Altman stayed at OpenAI's DevDay, while OpenAI President Greg Brockman attended. OpenAI launched the cheaper GPT-6.1 Sol at DevDay on Tuesday, a day after scrapping the release of GPT-6.1 Astra over safety concerns. Two weeks ago, Trump called concerns that AI could destroy humanity a "HOAX." Amodei and Altman have both called for greater government oversight of AI, per NBC. Meanwhile, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found 73% of Americans worry AI companies haven't done enough to prevent "serious harm to society."
