Problem is Ai with images of food is false advertisement. People want a true representation of what they are buying. But also it just too much, different effects and glitz and just crowded hard to read and focus. In hands of someone without eye of design it fails ok if no budget

yeah this ain't it. getting food images is as easy as making it and taking a pic. ai is uncanny, screams laziness and can count as false advertising. if you really need some hand for your menu poster/book, why not tell ai to just crop the food image and make a poster around it?

nah this is a bad opinion. AI menus don't give me any information about what's actually on the menu. I'd much rather be looking at a black and white laminated piece of paper with pictures of food that were taken with an iphone from 2015 with the flash on.

One of my old haunts in Berlin, an Arab chicken restaurant called Ya Hala, had new AI slop menus when we visited this summer. But the food was the same as ever.

Actually, most of the AI generated food has been for "hip" "new" "trendy" restaurants than the tried and true immigrant food.
