Some people can’t fathom the concept of benefitting others and it’s so sad

Can’t wait to hear the follow up mindset from gigachad sigma grindset man over there.

I’m an old lady and this is the way I was raised. My parents didn’t complain about taxes (except tax money spent to support Vietnam War) because taxes supported services that help us all. Owing taxes means we’re doing well. Vote to elect those supporting good tax expenditures.

Child of immigrants here. Couldn’t agree more. I’m proud we have some kind of system for everyone. Do I wish it was more education, transit, and healthcare based of course. But I feel patriotic knowing I help in some way just by thriving in this great country

Key is, as you stated, "properly used." Does and can gargantuan bureaucracies be efficient? History says no. Why do we expect better w/o real reform? Do that first, build some trust and confidence and most would be willing to pay higher taxes.

Hmm, it sounds like you need your thinking straightened out by one of the great pioneers and forward thinking minds in psychology, he in fact invented most of the fields and treatments in psychology, professor George Santos.

No. This is why the NHS and welfare state in the UK is so important. My grandparents and parents paid into it not for them at that time - but for the future, or for those that needed it at that time. I pay my taxes today not necessarily for me, but for every man, woman & child.

I don't get why this is such a difficult concept for people to understand. I don't have kids, I don't use government programs, but I don't mind paying a little bit so that people who aren't as fortunate have better opportunities and accessibilities. It's called "being human".

"That's the wrong mindset in my opinion. What ya gotta do is create this MLM and..."

Why not play his side so we can judge?
