As Governor of Edo State, I believe a clean environment is not just a reflection of good governance — it is a reflection of who we are as a people. From day one, I made it clear that we must restore dignity to our streets and communities. This is why we’ve invested in modern waste management equipment such as; payloaders, tippers, compactors and more to equip our agencies for the task ahead. But equipment alone is not enough. That is why I have reintroduced the monthly environmental sanitation exercise — every last Saturday of the month from 7:00am to 10:00am — as a collective effort to clean our surroundings, restore order, and safeguard public health. This is more than a policy; it is a movement. A clean Edo is a healthy Edo, a safe Edo, and an attractive Edo for investors. I call on every citizen and resident to join hands with us — sweep your gutters, clear your drains, tidy your markets and streets. This is our shared responsibility.
