The complainer is from Texas. It wasn't one of his neighbors but a lefty Karen who had no shame (as usual) and thought she had the right to complain about good people trying to help animals. I hope she doesn't have another good nights sleep. They report she deleted all of her social media accounts. Good, we don't need evil people online.

Scott, I think you missed an opportunity to educate you hapless coworkers. The reason this story is so embittering and resonant to many independents republicans and traditional Democrats is that the state will send a SWAT team to raid and ransack someone’s house for an innocent and peaceful raccoon and squirrel and the. Murder them, but it can’t be bothered to investigate when a Venezuelan gang takes over an apartment complex and it gives suspended sentences to people who’ve committed assault. Where are the standards? What kind of out of whack priorities are these. The second reason is this: if they’ll do this to a squirrel, imagine what they’d do to you if they decided you were a problem.

@CNN More than 10 gov't authorities, some ARMED, searched the house for hours, wouldn't let the owner go to the bathroom alone, or feed his other animal rescues. They searched his drawers for paperwork & questioned his wife about her immigration status. This is what NY prioritizes?
