Why did it get discontinued

Some sources say Sales of the Viper had been declining for years, making it a financial burden for the manufacturer. Some sources say the Viper was unable to comply with new safety regulations requiring side-curtain airbags. Integrating these airbags would have required significant redesign of the chassis, making it too expensive to justify.
