Listen, my brother-in-law and my little brother, both are masculine men, get their fucking nails done at the nail salon, they get clear polish, they want to make sure their nails look nice and groomed. They have no shame in it either. They will tell you where to go too. What the fuck is the problem?

When I was a teen my 6 year old brother would see me paint my nails and he’d want to do tha same. And I’d paint his nails. Later my father would scold both of us for it. Some parents are ignorant.

She's right, we can't change sex. But the religious brainwashing and rigid stereotypes (boys can't wear nail polish) can create for kids (esp. gay kids) a sense there's something wrong with them, making them vulnerable to the "gendered soul" and "born in the wrong body" myths.
