Kamala Harris: We cannot despair. We cannot despair. The nature of a democracy is such that I think there's a duality. On the one hand, there's an incredible strength when our democracy is intact. An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it. And so that's the moment we're in. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be. And so let's not feel powerless. Because then we have been defeated. And that's not our character as the American people. We are not one to be defeated. We rise to a moment and we stand on broad shoulders of people who have fought this fight before for our country. And in many ways let us look at the challenge then that we are being presented and not be overwhelmed by it. The baton is now in our hands, to fight for, not against, but for this country we love.

My heart hurts watching this. My kids are doing everything they are supposed to do. Working. Showing up. Trying. And still watching their hours disappear. Still stressed about things kids should not have to carry this early. What hurts the most is knowing it is not just them. It is their friends too. An entire generation trying to get a foothold and finding the ground slipping underneath them. I worry about them. About the pressure they are under. About the future they are being handed. They are not lazy. They are not entitled. They are trying. And I think every parent feels this right now, even if we do not always say it out loud. All I want is for them to have a fair chance. Do not think we are fighting a fair fight. If you believe we are fighting against a political organization called BJP and RSS, they have captured almost every institution in our country. We are now fighting not just the BJP and RSS, but the Indian state itself. I clearly stated that something went wrong in the Maharashtra elections. We are uncomfortable with the way the Election Commission operates. The sudden appearance of almost one crore new voters between the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections in Maharashtra is problematic. It is the Election Commission's duty to provide a voters' list with names and addresses of those who voted in the Vidhan Sabha election. However, the Election Commission has refused to provide this information. Why would the Election Commission refuse to make the voters' list transparent? What purpose does it serve by not providing us with the list, and why are they withholding it? It is the Election Commission's duty to provide transparency, and it is their sacred responsibility to explain why this has happened. This is something that every congressman and every opposition member must keep in mind. I love this from Andrew Klavan because I value integrity from people who supposedly profess to care about the truth. There are a lot of people in the conservative ecosphere right now who think they will just go along to get along and not make waves. That’s not how this works. I call out the left on their racism, Marxism and antisemitism or just plan old narrative and agenda driving lies. If we cannot call out our own side when they do it, we have no business saying a word about the left. Gaslighting. Narrative building. Agenda setting and them playing dumb isn’t new. It’s what MSNBC does. I call it out when they do it. I will call it out when Tucker or any other public voice is the a giant platform does it. And yes, people are scared to call it out. They shouldn’t be.
