I feel used. I’ve been a cheerleader for #AdobeAnimate Adobe Animate since its inception… when everyone else was saying “It looks cheap,” I was insisting, “No no no… it’s all in how you USE it!” And I was right. “Flash” (as I will always call it) has been an...

So... he almost gave up? 🐼:Actually, I’m a lot like Pond. I’m someone who really loves going to concerts. Many fans probably know that, and my friends definitely do. I have to admit that there were many times when I would watch a concert and think to myself, “One day, I want to be on that stage and perform for everyone.” And today, that day has come. It’s a strange feeling. It’s like a dream I’ve been chasing since I was a child. When the day comes that it actually happens, it’s such a strange feeling because I don’t even know how to explain it to the people in front of me. But one thing I do know is that I feel incredibly lucky to have everyone here watching me. This is a profession, something I never thought I would actually do. Honestly, I always thought it would just be a dream because I’ve always tried to live in the real world. I knew that the chance to have an opportunity like this in the real world is… 00000000,1% of the population. So I focused on studying. I planned out my life what I wanted to do, how I would live and this was just a hobby. My friends know me well; I told them this back in my first year of university. Everyone knows me as a GMMTV artist and actor, with some work here and there. And everyone asked me, "Why are you worrying about this?" With confidence, I replied, “I’m studying because when I graduate, I’ll stop doing this and get a proper job maybe in a bank, a firm, or an IT company.” One thing my parents have always told me since I started in the entertainment industry is: "If you really want to do this, why not take it seriously? Don’t just do it for fun. If you want to do it for real, plan it. Think about what you want to do, and how to do it well." I had always refused… until one day, in my third year, I was sitting in a friend’s condo while they were writing their résumé to apply for jobs just preparing a portfolio so they’d have work after graduation. Then my friend asked me, "Hey, have you started your CV yet?" Okay… now I had to get serious. I opened my own schedule, and what I saw was… strange. Looking at it, I realized, “Wow… I’ve been doing this without even realizing it.” My schedule, from the 1st to the 31st of August, was almost fully booked. For the first time, I thought to myself, “Maybe I can actually do this… all the way, even when I’m old.” And from that day in 2023 until today, in 2025, I am truly grateful to everyone for giving me the opportunity to do this as a real profession, to chase my dreams for real, and to actually make them happen. Here’s Rivers’ full confession from tonight’s LUX TOUR Confessional with ROSALÍA: “When I was in high school, there was a boy I really liked. We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. Then he told me, ‘Oh, it’s just that I have a family commitment,’ or whatever. Something like that. But he had been saying for months that he wanted to go, so it didn’t make any sense. I said, ‘Okay, fine, nothing happened.’ Since I had the extra tickets, I told a friend, ‘This is your opportunity, come with me.’ She was going to the festival too, so we went together. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was? A classmate. After that, I didn’t want anything to do with ‘Nati’ and I hated everyone for a long time. I spent several years not trusting anyone and not wanting to meet people in that way. But it was an experience, and eventually I realized it didn’t have to be that way.”

(long clip & transcription ‼️) 🎭: if i was asked one year ago if i wanted to perform in Concerto, i would've said no. there was a different kind of event that i was asked if i would like to participate and i actually said no to it. because up until recently like a few months ago, i had extremely bad imposter syndrome. 🎭: i didn't feel like i deserved to stand on stage, i didn't feel like i was ready and i kept doubting myself and was like "there's no way i would be able to perform to people's standards and stuff" so i politely declined being in an event a long time ago. 🎭: this time for Concerto when i was asked to participate, i was thinking of the same thing too but i thought about it a little more. i thought to myself like "if you're not gonna participate now then when are you going to do it? if you keep saying no to all these opportunities, they're all going to slip past." so i keep telling myself, "if you're gonna do it now then when are you going to do it?" 🎭: and i was inspired a little by my recent short covers and dance covers because ive been planning to release them for quite a long time actually. just the thought of that made me think, "i'm trying to work so hard on these other things so why don't i just try to do this as well?" 🎭: so i finally decided that i'm going to try this time to step up on stage and i want to be the proof to everyone that works hard that if you work hard eventually something good will come your way 🎭: i want everyone to be able to look at me and be like, "if he can work hard and do what he wants to do, then i can do it too." i think that's one of the biggest reasons i decided to participate and stand on this stage is because i want to inspire people because i came from nothing 🎭: i had no singing experience, no dancing experience, no japanese experience. when i first joined, i didn't even know how to read hiragana very well. i didn't even know wtf katakana was 🎭: i'm always thankful for the love and support everyone gives me. if it wasn't for you guys, i would really have said no so thank you. i really owe everything to all of you that always around and always supporting #knoxclips thank you for not giving up!!!! 😭🧡
