Victorians need to have confidence that Victoria Police was not involved in a cover-up with the Office of Daniel Andrews while he was Opposition Leader, and then as Premier of Victoria. There are many suspicious statements and circumstances that require an independent investigation with rigorous powers to provide justice to the then teenage victim and restore confidence in the justice system for the Victorian public.
