I finally cracked fluorescence in Blender #b3d
25 Yorum

my dumb 3d learning self would make the material on the shirt emit light

Always interesting how you'd do it with up to date SW! Voluntarily stuck with constrained tools for ages, I still make clothes glow with over-unity texture scaling. I left the simple gloss and the toon shading enabled, to preserve more of the 3D impression. #MikuMikuDance #MMD #PMXE

Thanks! Uncheck glossy is super helpfull with lights bleeding into metals

why not use an emmisive material?

@andrewpprice RETRO DONUT!!!

We love excited molecules

But does it work on doughnuts 🍩?

This is the content I’m on X for

That is a cool feature actually. Usually I often use the emission shader for smth similar but yours has very useful cases

Guru for a reason

That was so solid it hurt.

Next challenge. Set that to only a sniper scope, so you get that "thermal" look, but only within the scope itself.

Cool! Thanks, Andrew! I look forward to using this knowledge for alien environments in my future projects.

That's bad ass.

Really cool!

Huh, that's smart! Will definitely come handy someday.

Why do you worship non-whites?

Really nice! So simple

Andrew, I just finished my first donut last night, but it has a twist. I will post later. Stay tuned.

… HOWEVER

Don't let ConeGPT tell you what's impossible brother, nothing is impossible with shaders 😘

Thanks for the tips. I’ll let Codex know. 😁

Amazing
