makahiya mentioned (their tiny flowers are so cute)

😭😭😭 have you seen the variegated ones? theyre pink and i want one so bad but theyre crazy expensive and need to be kept in a terrarium where i live

THAT USED TO BE SO COMMON IN MY HOMETOWN STREETS we call it "makahiya" :3 hiya means shy in filipino

thats so neat ! we call them "sensitive plants" lol

Why they slow asf? The ones in my country are very reactive.

this might be a different kind or maybe this one is slower bc of the colder weather since it is autumn

Ah.... That makes sense. My country's ones don't have very noticeable flowers.

These grow everywhere in my country and everyone called it "putri malu" which means "shy princess" 💗💗💗

in my country (indonesia) theyre called "putri malu" which means "shy princess", pretty fitting name

I love these! we call them "dormideira" (translates to "sleeper") there's a lot of them on the way to my house

Why’s it do that?

nervous

Socially anxious plant

Leaf it alone! It's shy! lol joking

YEAAAHHHHH MIMOSA MENTIONED I loved playing with these as a child. I seldom see these in the wild anymore :(

I’ve seen these at a garden center they are called “sensitive plants” They are fun to play with. Apparently the leaves close at night too

Makahiya, saw this a lot when I was a kid in the provinces of the Philippines. They usually grow flowers with them. Its quite beautiful really

ITS SEW BOINGY🥹‼️‼️‼️

OH I LOVE THESE THINGS we call them "makahiya" where I'm from, "hiya" meaning shy :D

i love these!!! i have a bunch of it growing in my yard (after years of babying it through drought) and it makes me so happy i love poking the leaves

omg I had those near my house when I was a kid I loved them so much

awww in my country (costa rica) they used to be pretty common !!! although I haven't seen them as much lately:-((( here they're called “dormilonas,” which means sleepyheads:3

These plants grow around naturally where I live, I remember as a kid they were fun to play with by sweeping my foot lightly across a swath of them and watching them close up, super entertaining to ragebait them lol

makahiya!!!

where im from, that's common weed

We call it লজ্জাবতী লতা in bengali (touch me not)

id play with these all the time as a kid cus they grew around my school a lot for some reason. the one in your video is kinda slow to react to touch lol

I hate these, especially the types with thorns. Mimosa pudica hurts a lot if they're growing out of control.

Mimosa pudica!

Omg I heard of those so pretty !!!

oh i adore them !! they're all around campus, always fun to poke

Ooh! We call these mimosas or 含羞草 (hánxīucăo), "shy grass", in chinese where I'm from! Though sometimes people mispronounce it as 害羞草 (hàixīucăo), which also means "shy grass"

Shyplant always have a home in my heart. Outside of my childhood home in Nilai, Malaysia were a bunch and I would spend a lot of time poking them closed.

Scientifically known as Mimosa Pudica L idk what it is known as in english

Someone showed me this plant when I was in Mexico, it's a weed that just grows everywhere.

I remember seeing these plants outside when I was a kid, they also react to loud noises!

They're trying to hug you🤗

Terrible weed where I live

Ooo mimosa I used to find patches of them and jump on them they’re weeds sadly

These grow as weeds where I'm from
