As a non Arab, when I memorise from an app that has word by word translation, rather than assist the memorisation with the location of the word on the page, I assist it with the understanding of the meaning and what comes next in the story being told.

I stil have the mushaf in which I completed the Hifz. It's been 20 years and I still have that. It's difficult for me to read in other mushaf except 15 lines

this is how i memorized ofc and all the huffaz ik can generally tell you if an aya is on the right hand side or left hand side of a medina mushaf. now we will have new generations of huffaz who simply won’t due to learning from apps alhamdulillah for a timeless faith
