@mikeeisenberg Actually the real invention occurred before Christ, was reinvented in the 1700s. Considering the hardware, 1960s, 1970s. The late 1940s if you use any type of neural nets or deep learning, although it has been proved that such systems are equivalent to the math models of Babylon
