little bit of behind the scenes: i made all his face portraits (so far) be named after very... unusual words describing certain types of "emotions". they don't always match the expression they're assigned to. this is on purpose.

god your gaster design is so horrifyingly awesome to me but i ADORE his soundbytes. It both sounds like its trying to say each word, but also each letter, and it keeps getting shuffled around. It makes him sound split into pieces desperately trying hold himself together, love it

ty :) i used: - aseprite for the face portraits - fl studio to (painstakingly) recreate the speech sounds and chop up each letter of the alphabet based on the abc_123_a.ogg order, then export them separately - kristal, a deltarune fangame engine, to code what you see here

Imagine Gaster appears in the end of the game and he is FULLY and ENTIRELY VOICE ACTED

I hope that if we properly meet Gaster face to face in DR, he's something close to this. Incredibly personal, deeply cutting, and extremely unnerving. Every aspect of this monologue I adore wholeheartedly.
