i'm using ElevenLabs in my new app and it has never failed me once if you're building anything that requires transcribing speech to text, you gotta use 11labs i'm buiding an app that allows users to create really nice high quality videos for instagram / tiktok / yt shorts they gotta upload a video of themselves talking - the app then uses 11labs scribe model to transcribe the video and add captions to the video then the user can add broll, effects, audio, etc, to further elevate the video as a result the captions step (being the first) needs to be super good - esp. for a good first impression for new users if the transcription aint good, users will drop off the good thing is that this elevenlabs transcription model has got it correct >99% of the time every time i tried it so im basically relying on elevenlabs to help w/ CVR for my app + good first impressions in other words its basically a wigman for your first date in other words im glazing 11labs way too much but its well deserved speaking of the app, its launching very very soon so stay tuned my homies

Today I vibe-coded a small but incredibly useful macOS Electron app using Cursor + GPT-5.5. I use my Mac with a Samsung monitor that has a built-in webcam. Every time I used the camera, I noticed annoying light flickering. I always assumed it was my lighting. It turns out the culprit was the anti-flicker setting. The webcam was set to 60 Hz by default, while India's power frequency is 50 Hz. That mismatch causes visible flickering under indoor lighting. Samsung doesn't provide any way to change this on the monitor, and macOS doesn't have a built-in control for it either. So I asked Cursor to build a simple camera control app that lets me change the webcam's hardware settings, including the anti-flicker mode, along with zoom, brightness, contrast, and more. About 30 minutes and a few rounds of refinement later, I had a fully working Electron app. A tiny app, but it solved something that had been annoying me for months.

BOOMI MY NEW GROK DEVICE! I HAVE Grok ON AN OLD APPLE WATCH MADE IN TO A RETRO IPOD! Still working on it but my goal to have a remote single purpose Grok device has been achieved! With the benefits of posting my grifter slop on to X from this device also (that is another article). And a minimal phone. So how did I do it? First I got this IPod converter kit: it is a beautiful device to hold made of Aluminum. Second I got this app: “Ask Watch AI” it has a free version. Third I got my XAI Grok API Key: Toss a few bucks in the account to fund it. Finally I set up the system by answering questions. This is my first run. I am coding an app for the Apple Watch that will be easier than pressing “done”. I will write a full article on it as soon as I get it done. My goal is to use the cell plan on this Apple Watch and to have a minimal phone and Grok device. Soon these devices will be sent to Starlink. With full Grok Bot and Grok Build. No need for an OS or an App. Obviously this is an Apple Watch but soon it will be a device like this of course with a camera too.

Frisco Tyrant Jeff Cheney had me removed at his last meeting as Mayor. 20+ Cops swarmed me and escorted me out of the building. The crowd cheered because they're a bunch of brainwashed sheep supporting their corrupt city council who is silencing their input process. Sorry for the crappy audio - for some odd reason only my speech was cutting out on the video. Next time I'll be sure to wear my own mic to capture the audio.

I found a bug that lets you collect all of the main quest audio logs early. 🙃 If the audio log next to the Kitsune Mask step doesn't move to the Meditation Room in your game, interact with it, then save and quit. When you load back in, the next audio log will have spawned on this shelf. By repeating this process, you can collect all 6 main quest audio logs before reaching those steps in the Easter Egg.

new onboarding for audibible 💅💅 after reading RevenueCat’s SOSA 2026, I decided to go all-in on the onboarding for my app. 😤 it’s basically a mini-app inside the app ! The idea was to highlight the biggest features right away and create that « wow » moment that helps convert new users so I designed three slides after the intro, each showcasing real content from the app along with different ambiences. Each slide is also narrated with a read-along experience, so users can both listen and follow the text, which is the key feature of audibible. the goal is to make the onboarding feel much closer to the actual audio experience of the app now lets hope it’s worth it 😅

Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

just dropped my first video in a 5 part series where we build a full travel planner app on Replit and i am so excited 🌍✈️ as a software engineer, design has always felt a little out of reach for me. like i had all these ideas in my head but turning them into something that actually looks good was a whole other skill set. but the Replit Canvas genuinely changed that for me. my favourite way to use the Canvas is to bring in reference images and websites to help me to create designs! in this first video we jump into the Canvas, explore design directions for our travel app, and apply a final look to a real working app. it is so fun i promise. go watch it and let me know what you think 🎨👇

How to Create Music That Matches Your Video's Sound with Suno Studio I made a quick video showing how I use Suno Studio to generate background music that fits the audio and mood of a video, similar to the example in the quoted post. This is the method I use at the moment but if you have a better approach, feel free to share it. Before starting, export the original audio from your video. I usually do this in CapCut. Every single thing that I do more than once every week is now a tool: either a Claude Code skill, a scheduled workflow, or an application. • I spend the time doing this once. • I schedule it. • I forget about it (or at least, try to) CREAO is one of the platforms I've used extensively for building some of these automations. They are partnering with me on this post. They are one of the only platforms where you can go from a conversation to a scheduled agent that quickly. This is how it works: 1. You describe the problem you want to solve 2. CREAO's agent builds the logic and executes it 3. You can iterate with the agent to improve the solution 4. When you are done, you turn that solution into a mini app 5. You can schedule that app to run any time you need it Something important: These agents are deterministic. They don't use an LLM to generate answers, so they will always return the same output given the same input. This is critical: when you're automating something that runs every Monday at 9 am, you need it to return the same result every time, not a "creative" answer.
