Lady narrates how she left home dressing all nice going to a friend’s proposal to using rapper to cover herself at Agege. According to the lady, her friend’s fiancée invited her to the proposal because her friend was not aware of the proposal. So she left her house to the park to enter bus from to Agege and from Agege to her destination. She enter a bus like a small bus, she wanted to sit in the front but people were there already so she had to sit on the next sir behind the driver and a young lady with two kids, backing one and lapping the other one who is about 8 years old. 4 Minutes after the journey started she suddenly she felt something warm on her head only to find out that the little boy sitting behind her already vømitted on her head. The driver had to park everyone alighted at their destination and it was just her, the mother and the driver. She just sat there crying that everyone was questioning her if she was robbed or something then she later stood up to go meet a woman across then the woman asked her to go to a store after she explained everything to her then later asked someone to come call her back. The woman described another place for her and when she got there she was crying so everyone was questioning her while some were running from her because of the vömit on her. Then some women gathered around her and cleaned her up. She got herself clothes to cover up and ordered a ride which took her to the destination. For historian Elizabeth Pryor, the N-word posed a quandary. On the one hand, her father, comedian Richard Pryor, used the word on stage as part of his routine. But he would also tell her when she was a child not to let anyone call her the N-word. "I just knew in my heart there was a difference between the word that he was trying to highlight and the racist word that I was called at school," she told PBS News' Geoff Bennett. "But it was hard to figure out." Elizabeth, a professor at Smith College, has spent much of her career studying the origins of the N-word. In her new book, "Something We Said: Richard Pryor, a Notorious Word, and Me," she examines how her father changed comedy and his relationship with the N-word. "He literally told me I had to punch somebody out if they ever call me the N-word," she said. Yet, he "also went up on stage, and he had a gold record that was on the wall, and it was, 'That N-word's crazy.' So it was hard to figure out, as was my dad in many ways, which is part of the story." She talked about how she survive the mortuary and how she finally escaped even tho she was injected several times to fall asleep by the attendant. Nomy lost her mother when she was just 11 years old. Her mum was a single mum and the only parent that she knew. Experiencing grief at such a young age is not something that is easy to navigate, in fact you never fully heal from it. This is why she keeps to herself because she has had to navigate this world on her own. She has had disagreements with housemates and she has never insulted anyone so passionately. Saying anything about her mum is a trigger and calling her a motherless hoe is definitely something that she wouldn’t take lightly. Using the fact that someone has lost a parent as an insult is extremely painful. No one would react positively to that. All she wishes for is to see her mum again and coming at her because of her mum’s death is a big trigger. This has always confused me. She tributes to Her dad about never giving up on her and her mom for being her strength in her high school yearbook post. But yet she always says her dad left her after the divorce and her she never had a strong female figure. She said her grandmother on her deathbed asked her to forgive her mom. She said her grandfather was the only male in her life. And she was kicked out at 14. Had to live with a boyfriend and pay for herself. So is she lying about her childhood? Why didn’t she say thank you to her grandfather she says raised her and taught her everything about being who she is? Does it seem weird to you or am I just being a Candace and reading too much into this? How does she say it? It’s not sending me the right vibes.
