I found Laurie Daley’s response to this question perplexing. Why ask “where are you from”. He said NSW were building. It’s a 3 game series.

Jeez those comments are poor from Daley.. They won the series last year. They played terrible this whole series and got worse and worse as it went on.. How could they be building?

I found the entire interview perplexing. He seemed to take no responsibility for the loss.

Why would you be building when you we're the current shield holders? You don't build a fucking house and then next year knock it down and start again! You keep building and building and making the foundations stronger! Daley should never have been a coach! Was doomed from day 1.

Loz isn't a coach, this was proven years ago. As a player his ability is/was beyond reproach, but Slater coached rings around him this series. Really hope NSW keep Loz next year haha

They were horrible this series. When you look at the 3 x Games overall, NSW were woeful. Quite possibly one of our worst series ever - performance and aptitude. How you can be 20 down two games in a row defies belief. We weren’t up against the great QLD team of a few yrs back 🤦🏻‍♂️

“Most definitely (I should be coach)”. Where does this confidence/arrogance come from when you’ve lost 5 of 6 series you’ve coached, and bottled a 1-0 series lead in a home decider???

WTF sort of answer is that. This is "Trumpian" when he doesn't like a reporter. When Loz gets back to @BigSportsBrekky they will back him up...Mr 17% and 0-4 deciders.

He makes it up as he goes . It’s actually embarrassing and he looks so out of place .

This was just a conference full of cliches and no real insight into what went wrong. If he is coach next year, QLD should be $1.01 to win. Over to the NSWRL board to make the decision now.
