My friends and I always consider this topic to be part of the post-colonial inferiority complex that most Indians have. The same can be said for local languages: if you can write poems or even novels in them and don't know English, you'll be considered uneducated, while someone with broken English is considered highly educated 🦑.

Those kids who were living abroad are not living the life of luxury at the moment we’ve got an influx from South India no education no English they were walking around in flip-flops in -5° temperatures in London this year. My mind boggles as to what work they’re doing here. The role illegally crammed into a very small terrorist house of multiple occupancy. I don’t even know how they get here but we’ve had a very very large influx from South India.

When you have spent decades in India and decades outside, you begin to develop the kind of wisdom shown in the video. Until you make some money, get your basic needs taken care of, climb the ladder - none of this is going to make sense. Most of the population is in fight/flee mode still.

It's endless dude. The more good light you show India in, the more you'll be hated by Indians. It's just an Indian trait to do so, people think shitting about your own country makes them look "neutral". It's nothing more than that. People can't fathom that India can be loved.
