If you really wanted to spread awareness, you could have researched it..it’s Tourette syndrome. No cure but could be helped with reducing stress and anxiety, help them provide safe environment!!!

That is called Tourette syndrome where person is unable to control his random voices and physical movement. It comes automatically. Becomes worse in anxious situation. My autistic son also suffers from it. More people should know about it to stop staring at them weirdly .

I still remember my self when I was in 8th class , I was also having same problem, even worst than this ,when my teacher asked me to read then I only can read first word and then same thing happened to me , I was to much frustrated and demotivate because of this , but .........

If possible ask this kid to reach out to me, I suffered from a speech impediment while growing up and I would really like to give the kid some tips how he can navigate his way.
