All you need now is to install the launcher which downloads the modded version of the game. No keys or steam needed

Its a fan project made by a bunch of the modding team in the discord server. 2K and TurtleRock have completely abandoned the game so everyone there has taken over to archive and restore as much of the game as possible for people to enjoy and improve on what was left

@kevinsaid1 @SnoreDollar Ending support for a game ≠ abandoning the rights to it. Turtle Rock's original game idea, but 2K funded development and owned the rights after THQ went bust. When 2K chose to kill the game, Turtle Rock couldn't really do anything.

It's been a while since I checked up on the evolve servers, can you tell me if someone's on the way to mod new monsters/hunters in?

Honestly I'm not too sure but it would be cool. Maps are gonna be brought in from the legacy addition including balance changes in upcoming updates since there's a full modding team working on this game now. I would kill to see brachydios added tho I am not gonna lie

I had a few concepts for monsters, like a Stingray which can glide and theoretically abduct hunters halfway across the map if you're good

I know Skyrim modding scene, lunatics are adding wall-leaning and parkour, convert it to else bring and full on armor customization in-game. Like insane everything's possible.

Basically its an entire port of the Stage 2 build that is able to be played through peer to peer servers and has its own working client that you can install. No needed keys or anything. The entire game is completely archived

I think it's epic that people are finding ways to revive old multiplayer shooters now/keep it alive forever by setting up dedicated servers/clients.

Make sure to go to client installation in the discord server and download the link for whichever system you use (Linux or Windows) then install the launcher and game from there All the info to download will be in there as its incredibly easy to set up.
