Pickle jars are EVIL! Sometimes I have to run hot water over the lid to loosen it.

If you run the lid under hot water, the metal will slightly expand, making it easier.

Simple solution, bang the lid on the counter all around it and it should come off

Run it under some warm/hot water. Sometimes the lid contracts creating a tighter seal. Warm/hot water will expand the lid enough to open. It only takes a few seconds 🙏🕊♥️

You know perfectly well that if you put both hands together on the lid and apply pressure, you can open it; it's very simple.

This is when you give up and break out the can opener

Use flat tip of fork/spoon handle (don't ask bow my sis ruined knives) and stick it under lid and use leverage to let air in 🙃

fun protip, you can place your warm hand flat on the metal lid and the thermal expansion often is enough to loosen the grip enough to open jars
