This young man just spoke my experience, that time I will be missing and thinking of everything South African food, languages, etc.

It's a feeling I can't put into words. Travelling abroad enhances my patriotism because of the realisation that this country is the greatest.

You don’t even miss where you just came from

@jerrymakhetha Nigerians can’t relate

SAA playing Vusi Mahlasela ‘when you come home’ on landing. Yho

There’s an overwhelming feeling in your spirit when you enter the airspace. Every time the plane lands in JHB is a feeling I can’t explain. Feel almost like crying every time. The connection to this land is insane. When your blood is connected to this place it’ll make sense.

The countdown before touchdown is something else

Its the warmth of the sun and fairly clear sky, when you first open the shutters in SA for me!.. its catches me and warms my heart every time 🤗... then theres going past passport control with your green passport & being able to say "Dumelang" or "Sawubona"! ❤️💃

Agree with you,the feeling welcome to South Africa the weather is……so exhilarating esp if you live abroad and haven’t been home for a few months has

The most wonderful feeling.

Inkaba yami isekhaya😩ngimane ngizwa ngifudumala like an invisible hug nje somewhere whispering welcome home child🥹

This is so true - I’m getting goose bumps!!

Angkhohlwa LA ngphuma khona
