Random Japanese here. That one you were able to say was very formal style of apology. More lighter one will be ごめんなさい(gomennasai)、すみませんでした(sumimasendeshita)、or even just申し訳ございません(Moushiwake gozaimasen) works without gomeiwaku~ part

Honestly this first attempt to Przepraszam was closer than the one that worked for some reason And a tip there is no single Z sound in this word SZ sounds like SH combo And RZ in this case can be soften to SH as well

The Japanese one is real. It's just a formal version. An English apology could be long too if very formal, like "I humbly offer you my sincerest apologies" or "My deepest sorrow for my regrettable actions". That kind of thing.
