From when I viewed this over 13 yrs ago, until now—the way you speak told me if anyone could never make a mistake, it’d be you. If anyone was put here to show us what mental strength at another level is, it’s you. And @jebcorliss too, for sure. But when John Long says to @laralogan, “Right as he pulls into that crack, that’s like the point of no return—it becomes world class right THERE. And he’s, he’s in it now.” that could be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Hope when you go, it’s due to old age, b/c you’ve inspired a lot of ppl.

@michaelgervais The likelihood is low because you're a damn spider 🕷 Stay free

@michaelgervais Big Rope is starting to catch on 😉 First interviewer who asks you about the S. Face of Mt. Watkins should get a case of beer. 🔥🏴☠️

@michaelgervais Whatever you gotta tell yourself, Alex! Love watching you from a distance

@michaelgervais So wait you are saying free soloing el capitan is freaking easy 😂?
@michaelgervais When it comes to free soloing, my guess is risk (of death or extreme injury) probably begins at around 30 feet, unless you're Lynn Hill.

@michaelgervais Possibly the most finely tuned human athlete to ever exist. Alex, you're amazing to watch. The El Cap solo was truly "lovely".

@michaelgervais I was looking for a new podcast 💪🧠

@michaelgervais Agree … as novice we can also manage the risk … #Rock Grandkids and a pup

@michaelgervais A nice articulation of a version of the (Judge Learned) Hand Formula for negligence, where the probability of a loss is multiplied by the magnitude of the loss to determine whether the cost/burden of a taking a precaution should have been taken.
