You’ll likely be told that it has not been introduced to the Bengal market yet. In Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru, you won’t be told it’s unavailable. That indicates that companies are aware of the limited capacity of the locals in Bengal to afford the item. Pick an academic chapter and study how it’s taught in schools and colleges. You’ll notice only in Bengal’s books that the pedagogy is still of the British era. The difference is particularly visible in mathematics and physics, while history sometimes reads almost like the chapters on Hinduism or Hindus were written by a colonial-era British Indologist! The only aspect of Bengal that I find superior to all other states is food, which is a characteristic of the state that must not change. Maximum variety. Fantastic taste. Affordable.
