I like these moments because we can see how genuinely kindhearted Sephiroth was as a person before Nibelheim. He cared for his friends even in the perspective of them ‘betraying him’ and tried his best to stay composed despite that.

When I was 18 I lost my best friend. Some college staff. He got drank, he fell and hit his head hard enough to not make it. It was really tough on all of us.
