Enhypen are performing at Weversecon today, and honestly, I hate that there’s a chance their performance will once again be overshadowed by drama they didn’t create. It happened in Melbourne when people were grieving instead of celebrating their stage. It happened during BLOOD Saga when people were fighting over OT6/OT7 fan chants. It happened during the AMAs when some people debated whether they should even vote because they didn’t want to support an “OT6 agenda.” It happened when they won Daesangs and people focused on who wasn’t there instead of celebrating the six members. It even happened on Jay birthday., I genuinely feel sad for enhypen. The only thing they did was stay, continue moving forward, and continue standing beside Engenes. Yet it feels like some people resent them for that and can’t let them have a single moment of happiness, success, or recognition without attaching negativity to it. As an engene, watching this unfold has been heartbreaking. Enhypen deserve to be celebrated for their hard work, talent, and achievements. So for today’s performance, let’s focus on them. Early on in my career I thought it was everything, and that a players success was my success. A players success is their success, and all the different people in their lives are there to hopefully help guide them. When I realized that, I became a better trainer because I realized I was serving them and not my own ego.

And honestly, what disgusts me the most is the way they talk about the six members. Notice how when they talk about Heeseung, they emphasize his talent, but when it comes to the other 6 members they reduce them to brand deals, modeling, promotions, or side activities as if they are not talented idols themselves. As if Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki cannot sing, dance, perform, carry stages, and succeed as artists too. So please don’t tell me these people appreciate all 7 members equally because the way they speak about the other 6 says otherwise. And honestly, engenes should stop normalizing this type of behavior in the fandom because this is not support. This is pure hate . They are antis.
