When Cersei forced Daenerys to watch Missandei’s execution, and her final word was “Dracarys,” something inside Daenerys shattered. By the time the bells of King’s Landing rang, she no longer saw victory—only betrayal, grief, and a world that had taken everything from her.

The destruction of King’s Landing wasn’t caused by Missandei’s death alone, but her execution was the final spark that unleashed the Dragon.

Daenerys was incredible, but she couldn't keep massacring entire cities. I think Jon knew it would only get worse if no one stopped her, so he felt killing Daenerys was the only way to prevent even more bloodshed.

She wouldn’t have massacred anymore innocent people, she was always a type to listen. All Jon needed to do was make her see the cause of her actions not kill her.

Still doesn’t warrant her killing a whole city of a million people mahn Do you even understand that ??? A million people !!!!!

She tried 'peaceful queen' in Meereen and almost got assassinated. Drogon had to save her. Love didn’t work. So she switched to fear. Was it rage? 100%. Was it also her thinking 'if I don’t scare them now, they’ll kill me like they tried in Meereen'? Also yes. Ruling Westeros wasn’t about being nice. It was about making sure nobody ever dared to rebel again just like Cersei. But believe me she was a better queen.

She wasn’t going to stop with King’s Landing. She planned to continue conquering the rest of Westeros by force. That’s why Jon did it, to “break” the mad king curse..

It was only Kings Landing she wanted. The rest of the land would fall and bow to her after she conquered kings Landing.

Tell me you didn't comprehend anything from the show without telling me.

It’s hard to understand what you mean. Come out plain would you?

Daenerys did not give "everything" to Jon. She did not give her army and dragons for Jon. She gave it because she saw that there was a bigger threat out there which could take over the whole known world. And then, there would be nothing left to rule over. It was

common sense for all of them to join forces. Jon did not ask anything for himself. Also, Daenerys did not snap because of Missandei. She snapped because she understood that she would never be accepted by the large majority of Westeros especially when the truth about Jon came out

All in all, it was tragic but Jon did the right thing

It was just shit story writing ...blame the showrunners

At the end the made her looked like the Villain and the villain had a more sympathetic ending.

Loss forges dragons from queens and blades from lovers. She poured her soul into him only to receive a knife in return. Betrayal cuts deepest when it comes from those we trust most

@Queen_OnX Exactly and believe me after that scene I wish Jon Snow bad in the rest of the show. I was so pissed that nothing mattered to me after the scene.

I love Jon Snow for killing Daenerys. At that point she needed to die with all of them, her ruling method wasn’t it anymore

I guess you only watch the final episode, cause if you followed GOT from the beginning then you should know that she didn’t deserve the end she got even after what she did.

@rocrella Nor did Jon. He loved her. He did it to end the madness.

@SlimJ_hay Thank you, she deserved it, Missandei was the only person that literally kept her emotional, she started ruling as “serve me or die”, sorry but excuse you!!! You’re no different from the slave masters. What exactly did the killing of the millions do for her??

You do not threaten his sister and expect to live.

That wasn’t a threat it was an assault which any man with that power and in her position would seek revenge and immediately.

Queen Rhaenyra did not do this to her people even though her children were killed

I really hated that scene

Her Greatest mistake was appointing Tyrion as her hand even lady olenna warned her

No that wasn’t, infact it was a smart idea just that the play made him turn against her.

This is just bad writing. Dany would never kill innocent people, yet the showrunners try to make us believe that she’s evil. To me, Season 8 is just fan fiction. I hope the books come out one day so we can finally get a proper ending for Dany.

Oh yes! I can’t wait, cause no way the play made her the villain after all those years she suffered and helped people.

She could have found a way to kill Cersei without killing millions of people, that’s where I draw the line and she deserved that death, no one else could have been able to do it if not Snow

The whole massacre of innocent people thing? Laugh

You can’t blame her we do things we regret later on out of anger!

I hate snow

Dany was always destined to be a monster. When a Targ is born the gods flip a coin

i wish the bone of your ancestors crawl you into mud and set oil on lighting ground

Jon may have thought he was saving the realm, but from Daenerys' perspective, it was the ultimate betrayal. She trusted him with everything, and he repaid that trust with a knife.

I don’t even blame dany. Kings landing became nothing but a cesspit of degeneracy. Jon snow and the rest of them were too soft. Dany did what had to be done

I wonder if GRRM actually wrote this 🤔

What GRRM wrote was played.

Missandei wasn't just an advisor; she was Daenerys’s sanctuary. She represented peace, unconditional loyalty, and Dany's gentler nature. Losing her in such a brutal fashion, coupled with Missandei's final word ("Dracarys"), effectively severed Dany's last emotional tether.

Ce n’est qu’une Staline en jupon, aussi timbrée que son paternel et son frère, elle mérite totalement son exécution après le massacre qu’elle a commis à Port-Réal

Could anyone reading this please answer?

He's a true man who isn't selfish, letting Daenerys live after she turn to a villain out of control. He did the best thing at the right time

Traicionó a la reina, merecía la muerte, no el exilio ..

the bells were ringing and she chose fire anyway

So she goes carpet-bombing/burning the whole city Killing the innocent people that she fought for!! You know that defeats the purpose, right?!

Pena que não queimou a Cersei

Jon was not keeping her grounded- that is why she burned king’s landing and its people

She also broke her words she announced to win all sevan kingdoms including north, also she said other people don't have right to think like she became so selfish and mad, so for the sake of innocent people jon has to kill that mad & evil queen

Jon Snow did as he did every time: He thought what would be the best for the people he is responsible for and made a decision. And he was never afraid of facing the consequences.
