Not necessarily add ons but innovative tech thats already into the device out of box. As you said, haptics, triggers, six axis, touchpads, Mic and speaker are all inclusive with the peripheral on PS5. The dualsense edge battery is terrible.

My Switch 1 joycons outlasted my PS5 on stick drift and I played those WAY more Switch 2 doesn’t have any problems reported (yet)

I just find it odd you say the dualsense isn’t fit for fighters but that the xbox controller does have the “use it for all” approach. The dpad on xbox has never been good for fighters

Is that why after arcade sticks the dualsense is the most popular controller at FGC events? I get that the dualsense dpad isn’t the best due to the surface being rounder compared to the ds4’s flat dpad surface, but calling it too mushy is pushing it.

Well, Sony runs Evo so I kinda expect everyone there to use PlayStation controllers. Idk It’s too mushy for really precise movements and fighting games in my opinion which is why I use a fight stick I actually bought streetfighter 6 on Steam and used my keyboard instead of buying it on PS5 lol

They overhyped the PS5 controller when it first came out. I need to charge it every other day. I got drift stick after 18 months. Still no issues with the Series X controller. Love the battery pack since the reusables i have last over 2 weeks.

Your guess is as good as mine. One day I just turned it off for a break and it just never came back on afterwards and I tried everything. Eventually I just bought a new controller before trading my series x in for a pro a few months later. 😅
