I hate the term "life purpose." I hate it because it doesn’t mean anything. The term misleads people into thinking there’s this magical external thing you’ve got to find—like a cosmic scavenger hunt. To rephrase the three myths in a more succinct/useful way: 1. We all have multiple sources of purpose/meaning in our lives. 2. Purpose changes over time. What feels important today might not tomorrow. 3. Purpose is necessary but not sufficient for happiness.

This is awesome, Mark. At the end of the day is us figuring out who we truly are and having the courage to be that person every minute. When you are there, you know who you are, and nothing that happens outside of you can bring you down No more fucks to be given at that point :)

Unraveling the 'life purpose' puzzle—indeed, it's not a cosmic quest, but an internal compass. Your insights resonate; purpose isn't a fixed destination but a path you craft. Embracing it in everyday moments is a revelation. Thanks for dispelling myths and inspiring purposeful perspectives!

Sadly, life purpose is a myth. It doesn’t exist.
Purpose is relative and if it is linked with life it has to be dynamic. So, obviously no one size fits all purpose and no single purpose can be a panacea

live life first, purpose comes thru lived experience digging the video here on twitter mark! thanks for making it

Purpose ebbs and flows. It's not linear. There are many ways our lives have purpose. We just have to pay attention to them.

Nah. I still believe in that term. And of course, 1. Purpose can have multiple forms for each of us. 2. Purpose can be dynamic. 3. Purpose can't always solve anything.

I view " life purpose " as both an inner drive and an external alignment with something greater. It's not merely about self-satisfaction but connecting with a broader vision or legacy. The search for " life purpose " is a journey that can be transformative.
