I have a few extreme pet peeves not many but I consider them fairly basic. 1. People who don’t say “thank you” 2. People who are rude to the elderly and moms 3. And this….a chick who of all the treadmills comes up right next to you and talks...

🫂💚I'm Walid and I love animals, especially #cats.🐈 Before this war, I spent years caring for stray cats in Gaza. I built a shelter for them and took sick cats to the vet. But about a year ago, when the bombs fell, my shelter was partly destroyed, and so many of the cats I cared for were killed. It broke my heart. Now, I’m doing what I can to help the cats who survived this war so far. Some are strays, but as the war continues, more and more are pets who lost their humans, their homes and safety. They roam the streets of North Gaza, hungry and scared, just like so many of us people. I’m also trying to rebuild what’s left of my shelter for the cats who did survive the bombing, but it’s not easy. I need food for the cats in my care and for the ones still out there. During the ceasefire, my friends and I ran the Cruelty-Free Kitchen. We served warm meals to thousands of families. During the ceasefire my friends and I started helping eight families who are living in tents, with no proper shelter or clean water. We also distribute water in our neighbourhood. Every day is a struggle, but we do what we can to share what little we have. Life in 💔#Gaza🇵🇸 is unimaginably hard, but I haven’t given up. I believe there are kind-hearted people out there who can help—people who care about animals and people, just like me and my friends. If you can, please support my efforts to feed these cats and help these families. Every bit of help makes a difference. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do for us.🙏🐈 🫂🥺🆘️ 🐾🐈

JADE tears up while giving a speech at the final show of her first solo tour: “Thank you so so much Hamburg, from the bottom of my heart. Before I do my final song, there are so many people I need to thank who have put this show together. […] Everybody on this team [is a very good friend]. I think that speaks for itself – surrounding yourself with really great people who not only do the job well, but everybody on this tour has gone above and beyond to make this show work tonight. I have a lot of ambition. I hope you’ve seen that we’ve put as much as we possibly could into the show. It isn’t just about my creative brain and what I want to bring to the stage – everybody on my team has really done more than their job to make this happen, and that really means the world to me… [Tears up] I know it’s a bit of a lengthy speech tonight, but it’s because it’s the last night and it’s really important to say these things. I’m so grateful to my team. They’ve gone above and beyond to make this show what it is. I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you all, and how grateful I am. Last but not least, I have to thank you – my fans... [Chokes up] I’ve said this so many nights on the tour, but I really do mean it: I feel so honoured and lucky that I was in a girl-band for over 10 years, and I feel even luckier that I’ve got to start again at a solo artist. I couldn’t have predicted that I’d still be able to do this. I hope that shows people in the audience that it’s never too late to keep dreaming. I never thought 15 years into my career, I’d be able to do my own solo tour. Thank you for making my dreams come true. You did that. Wow… It’s an emotional one. I have to thank as well – there’s been so many new fans who have joined the JADE fandom, which is so so lovely. There’s also some day ones here tonight. Some of you have been to every single show, and it just blows my mind that you want to invest so much time and effort and energy into me as an artist. I really hope you know that I appreciate you, I love you, and I’m very aware that I would not be here without you. And also, I have to thank the gays and the gals! I would not be here without you. Thank you so much. I promise to always be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.”

When I am at the gym and I see somebody’s water bottle there or a towel or something. I know they just stepped away for a moment and that the machine is occupied. Out of respect I won’t move it out of the way only for them to come back and have to explain themselves anyways. This young lady on the machine left her water bottle on it because she stepped away for a moment to use the restroom only for somebody else to come by and try to use it in her place. Would you have understood the etiquette or is it just a free for all? When I first started working out I was unfamiliar with the gym etiquette. Some people just got done with a hard set and need to stand up and walk for a few moneys or get a drink of water and they use it as their rest period so that they can go back at it. Interrupting that process is the same thing as booting them off the machine mid workout. It’s rude and uncalled for but why does it keep happening? I think what it is, is that some people are very judgmental, they see others and think that they are more serious about working out than the other person so that to them it means they are entitled to use it first because their workouts are more important. I used to let them do that to me but no more. I treat it as first come first serve, if they don’t want to wait then maybe they need to avoid the gym during peak hours. This is the very reason I work out in the middle of the night most of the time. I rather not be bothered and if I need to take my time I can, most of the time nobody else is even there anyways when I go.
